The most substantial work on the program was Jephte an oratorio by 17th century Roman composer... Giacomo Carissimi…(with) Rebecca Winston as Filia. Rebecca was excellent, doing an especially nice job of conveying the anguish of her character…
Dallas Morning News:
(Rebecca Winston was soloist with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in a concert tribute to Richard Rogers for 4 sold out performances)
Nostalgia reigned supreme at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center…The Dallas Symphony Orchestra took a time machine back to the mid 20th century for a program of music by Richard Rogers and words by Oscar Hammerstein II. … the audience was treated to a straightforward presentation of great pop tunes of that bygone time. There was no lack of melodies to leave the hall humming.
The Bryan - College Station Eagle
Most of the heavy lifting, by far, was done by soprano Rebecca Winston. She sang the Alto solo "Agnus Dei" from Bach's "Mass in b minor"... That she could later bring in well-chosen facets of her highest registers to portray the aching cries for peace required in Ralph Vaughn William's "Dona Nobis Pacem" was a tour de force... Winston's work was all the more impressive as she gave her single role as supplicant its intensity through color choices from hard-wound steel to an eddying shimmer.
The Dallas Opera
To whom it may concern: The Dallas Opera Guild has been very fortunate to work with many wonderful musicians in the past years and I believe that Chris Winston should be included in that elite group. His personality and professionalism only enhance his talented piano ability. We have invited Chris to play for our wine auction, Vintage Dallas, for the past two years and he has not only played great but brightened the event for our 500 guests each year. We look forward to working with him on future endeavors and we can only encourage you to also choose Chris for your upcoming events.

"Chris Winston of Dallas, Texas is rockin' with his song "Yogi's Day Out." It's a fast-paced track with some great guitar and piano licks. According to Broadjam's Founder and CEO, who's listened to more music than you'd think humanly possible, "Yogi's Day Out is one of the finest country instrumental songs I've heard in a long time. The players are absolutely incredible." Listen for yourself, you'll agree." “Music and playing is hot. Love the piano rips! The guitar is great too, especially in the break toward the end.”

Winston Music played for our fundraising gala and provided exactly the sound and feel we were imagining for the evening. Chris was extremely professional and easy to work with every step of the way. His fun personality is a bonus! I would be happy to recommend Winston Music for any event.
